Returns and Right of Withdrawal
We want you to be fully satisfied with your purchasing experience on Le Petit Lapin Bleu.
In accordance with European consumer protection regulations, the Buyer has a legal right of withdrawal of fourteen (14) calendar days from the date of receipt of the artwork or product ordered.
Marketplace Nature
Le Petit Lapin Bleu operates an online marketplace enabling independent artist sellers and buyers to connect.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise on the product page, artworks and products available on the platform are sold directly by independent Artist sellers.
In such cases, the sales contract is concluded directly between the Buyer and the Artist seller, who remains solely responsible for the offer, shipping, product conformity, after-sales service, returns and refunds.
Products Sold Directly by the Platform
In specific cases, certain products may be sold directly by Le Petit Lapin Bleu. Such products are clearly identified as being sold by the platform on the relevant product page.
When Le Petit Lapin Bleu acts as the direct seller, the platform assumes all legal obligations applicable to a professional seller.
The present return and refund conditions apply identically whether the sale is carried out by an Artist seller or directly by the platform.
Return Procedure
Before returning any product, the Buyer must contact customer service at the following address: contact@lepetitlapinbleu.com in order to obtain return instructions and the applicable return address.
No return will be accepted without prior authorization.
After notifying the decision to withdraw, the Buyer has fourteen (14) days to ship the concerned product.
Condition of Returned Products
Returned products must be sent back:
- in their original condition,
- complete,
- undamaged,
- in the original packaging or packaging providing equivalent protection.
Given the often unique, artistic or fragile nature of the artworks offered, the Buyer undertakes to use packaging ensuring protection equivalent to that used during the initial delivery.
Any incomplete, damaged or deteriorated product may result in a partial refund or refusal of reimbursement.
In accordance with applicable European regulations, the Buyer may be held liable for any loss in value resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and proper functioning of the product.
Return Costs and Transport Responsibility
Except in cases of seller error or defective products, return shipping costs remain the sole responsibility of the Buyer.
The return shipment remains under the Buyer’s responsibility until the product is effectively received by the concerned seller (Artist seller or Le Petit Lapin Bleu).
The Buyer is strongly advised to use a tracked and insured shipping service covering the full value of the returned artwork or product.
In the event of loss, theft or damage during return transport, no refund may be issued if the product is not received in compliant condition by the seller.
Refunds
The refund is processed by the concerned seller after receipt and verification of the returned product.
The refund will be issued using the original payment method used for the purchase.
In accordance with applicable regulations, reimbursement may be withheld until the returned product has been received or proof of shipment has been provided by the Buyer.
Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- custom-made or personalized artworks,
- products created upon specific request of the Buyer,
- products made upon quotation and not publicly priced in the online shop.
Such items cannot be returned or refunded except in the case of proven defect or manufacturing error.
Return Address
The return address varies depending on the concerned seller.
No product shall be returned to the administrative address of Le Petit Lapin Bleu without prior instructions.
The appropriate return details will be communicated after validation of the return request.
