This painting in vertical, horizontal and rounded shapes describes an evening of moon.

The night represented by the cold colors of a sleeping character rubs shoulders with the warm, red and yellow colors of a day which has slowly faded away.

The moon balanced between the two by its sleeping shape rests on two bases, one triangular in the shape of a knife blade, the other rectangular and vertical; the two extras the nightmares that full moon evenings cause.
